Need Advice on Using Book Publishing Companies in Texas for My Project

I’m planning to publish my book soon and thought I’d ask for guidance here on this Q&A board. I have completed most of my manuscript, but I’m unsure about the next steps, especially when it comes to choosing the right publishing option. I’ve been researching book publishing companies in Texas, but I’m finding it hard to decide which one would be a good fit for my goals.



I want to make sure my book is properly edited, formatted, and presented in a professional way. At the same time, I don’t want to rush into a decision without understanding the process clearly. Should I go with a traditional publisher, or would self-publishing be a better option?



If anyone here has experience working with publishing companies in Texas or has gone through this process, I’d really appreciate your advice. What should I look for before choosing a company?
